Our sweet little orchard is finally showing signs of life. These are some peach blossoms (uh... I think) and we're just hoping that they don't get killed by a later frost. We've had a nice little heat wave and we just know that it's a short-lived glimpse at spring.

Here are the peas starting to pop their little heads up in the raised beds.

Big Grandpa and Uncle Bouge (Chris) came down for a visit this past weekend. Of course they knew that they would promptly be put the work. Today's project was moving the old broken toy shed over to its new home to be converted to a turkey coop.

Big Grandpa razzing Sammy about something....
I didn't get a picture of them moving the shed over to it's new location. But it hitched a ride on the back of a borrowed trailer. It beats carrying it!
Synchronized goof.
Here's the shed in all it's broken glory. The doors had been blown off in a storm a long time ago. It will make a dandy turkey coop. Gobble Gobble!

10 ducks still living it up in the chicken run. They are soon to be joined by 25 roosters in about 10 days.
Awww... a beautiful sight.
And... not so beautiful sight. The roosters are still in the garage for now. They will be moved out when they are fully feathered or if they start fighting. So far they are happy as clams under the heat lamp.
